Think about all of the people involved in making your favorite resort the experience it is: Bellmen, check-in clerks, maids, designers, architects, builders, investors and so forth. Every person, whether you see them or not, plays a specific role in creating a holistic and enjoyable experience for you.
The real estate industry is largely comprised of individual agents who manage every part of a real estate transaction. That’s like asking the valet guy to cook and deliver your breakfast, make your bed, design the lobby, and build the pool!
To optimize this old approach for our clients, we have adopted a team model in which each member of our team has a specific role and brings a unique skill set and expertise to their position.

Growing up, John’s father told him that he could be anything he wanted to be, except for a banker or a Real Estate Agent. So, in 2003, after earning a Finance degree, John promptly began a full-time career in real estate. Almost two decades and more than 1000 home sales later, John ranks in the top 1000 of the 1.3 million agents in the US. His dad has since changed his mind.
One of John’s greatest strengths is in seeing connections that are not always obvious. His ability to think laterally has secured deals and solved problems for our clients that would otherwise seem impossible. For example, in seeing that clients often struggle with purchasing a new home at the same time they need to sell theirs, John created a system in which our clients can “trade up” their homes, optimizing the auto industry’s approach to the same problem.
John has also assembled a passionate team here in San Diego to to support our clients in every facet of buying or selling their homes. He is proud to be the catalyst of change within the real estate industry and within the lives of our thousands of past clients.
Ashley is our Listing Coordinator and she can’t wait to help you get your house ready for the market! She comes to us with an extensive real estate background of over 12 years working directly with banks on listing their internal foreclosed properties. Ashley also serves as John’s assistant (and right-hand woman!) where no task is too big or small for her to tackle!
She was born and raised in Medford, Oregon. She moved to San Diego, California when she was 13 where she met her now husband, Hubert, when she was just 15. They have been together longer than they haven’t been! She loves to hang out with her husband and their two rescue dogs, Bruno and Panda, working out, traveling and hanging out with friends!
Tyler Mathews’ real estate knowledge and business sense are heavily influenced by his 10-year ownership of a high profile design-build firm. The company was founded while attending college on a full-ride golf scholarship with the help and guidance of his business partner and father Les. Together, they built the company from the ground up, weathered a tremendous downturn in the economy, and continued to build award-winning projects while maintaining a flawless reputation. After a healthy run of high-end construction, and multiple residential home flips, both decided to pursue new business ventures and sold the company. Selling real estate was a natural next step and has been his passion ever since.
Tyler, his wife Ashley, and their son Caleb love all that San Diego has to offer and enjoy spending time in the outdoors exploring, fishing, and kicking back at numerous beaches. You can occasionally find Tyler on the golf course, but his game isn’t quite what it used to be!
Chris discovered the powerful ways real estate can build wealth and change lives after purchasing his first multi-family rental unit with under $5,000! After buying and selling several properties for his family he decided to become a real estate agent to be a fierce advocate for others who want to buy, sell and invest in real estate. Chris has lived in San Diego with his family since 1984 and as a Realtor who looks at homes every day, he understands the diversity of the towns and cities within the San Diego county borders and can target the “right” strategy for clients.
Chris, his wife Jordan, and their son live in the Pacific Beach area and love to walk on the beach and enjoy the best of San Diego restaurants. When not spending time with his family, he might be found racing autocross in his Boxster.
Claire Wilson’s real estate background is driven by her experience in Finance and Economics. Prior to joining the Gluch Group team, Claire was a financial analyst with one of the largest firms in the world. She has a passion for complex negotiations that is backed up by her Economics degree from Rice University. As much as she loves numbers, Claire thrives while getting to know her clients on a personal level in order to get them exactly what they want in a tough market.
Claire regularly works with first-time home buyers, VA clients, and luxury clients. She has an explicit interest in making sure that her clients are not only getting their dream home but also finding a strong financial investment. From salesperson to buyer’s advocate, analyst, advisor, consultant, negotiator, and marketing specialist, Claire does it all to deliver a seamless experience for her clients.
Claire and her rescue dog Juliet reside in Imperial Beach, where they can regularly be found out and about enjoying local favorites. She loves to try new restaurants and outdoor activities in San Diego during her free time. For Claire, being a real estate agent is personal and her aim is to deliver a stress-free experience for her clients.
Mark moved to San Diego in 2005, to escape the challenging climate of Milwaukee, WI. He quickly established roots and started building a resume rich in sales and customer service experience.
Mark believes that a fulfilling life can come from helping people achieve their own personal and business goals and decided that there was no bigger dream than the “American Dream” of home ownership. After moving to San Diego he made the jump from sales to real estate and quickly committed to making sure that the home buying process was a personal experience for his clients and that they were treated with the utmost care.
He is a member of the Veterans Association of Real Estate Professionals, a certified Military Relocation Professional (MRP) and has Military and Veterans Housing Certification (MVHC). Mark has a degree from the University of Wisconsin in Business Administration.
Creator of the lifestyle website CoronadoIsCalling.com, Mark wanted to establish a resource for those curious about the fantastic dining, unique locally-owned shops, and abundance of outdoor activity options that define the character of his hometown, Coronado.
While serving his community as a patrol officer with the San Diego Police Department, Daniel became closely acquainted with the many diverse neighborhoods of San Diego. After going through the experience of buying his first home, Daniel realized he could use his knowledge of the city to serve his community in a different way. He went on to become a realtor who remains committed to his values of service and integrity in the home buying process.
Daniel brings an enthusiastic attitude and positive energy to his work and has a unique ability to navigate complex interactions with empathy and understanding. By asking insightful questions that give him a true understanding of his clients’ needs, Daniel strives to make the complicated home buying process as stress-free as possible, while ensuring his customers find the perfect home every time.
In his spare time, Daniel and his wife, Danielle, enjoy exploring San Diego restaurants and attractions or going camping with their dog, Gnarles Barkley.
Yana started her real estate career when she herself was looking for a home for her family. Through her home buying experience, she became so fascinated with the real estate industry that she decided to get licensed shortly thereafter and never looked back.
With ten years of experience in the Scottsdale and Phoenix real estate markets, Yana brings a wealth of knowledge to the Gluch Group team. She has not only helped clients buy and sell their homes but has also assisted other realtors in managing their transactions. Furthermore, she has unique expertise in helping veterans buy and sell their homes. The diversity of Yana’s experience enables her to effectively navigate and negotiate the home buying process for all types of clients to ensure their goals are met and exceeded every time.
In her spare time, Yana enjoys staying active with her two children. Her passions include yoga, pilates, and learning the art of Argentine tango.
Pinki Bhandari serves as an executive assistant to several members of our sales team. After completing her post-graduate work in History from Delhi University Pinki joined a large MultiNational Company MNC worked there for almost 10 years as a Data Analyst. Her work there gave her a passion for attention to detail and she loves ensuring that our sales team and clients have every t crossed and I dotted. Pinki works hard to keep our real estate agents organized and ensures that our clients receive lightning-fast responses to their inquiries.
Pinki is a traveler and likes adventure. In her spare time, she watches cartoon movies and listens to podcasts and music. Pinki is married to Nikhil who is also on our team and together they have developed some new hobbies including cooking and running. In 2019 they reached a huge milestone completing the Delhi half marathon and their dream is to participate in the New York Marathon. She has a very positive outlook towards life and believes that if you do good, good will come to you.
Meet Nikhil Kumar, a stellar Gluch Group team member. We love Nikhil's passion for life and his ability to overcome tremendous obstacles to accomplish his goals. He recently shared a testimony regarding a marathon he recently ran and it inspired our whole team to tears. He teaches our team never to give up, choose joy, and love your life! Nikhil was born in Patna, India. He attended a boarding school in Delhi and received a banking diploma from Delhi University with honors in the history department. He married his best friend in 2017. Some fun facts about Nikhil: He is an adventurer at heart, enjoys traveling, talking to people, running, reading, cooking, and watching sports. He's a hardcore Liverpool FC fan (Soccer club).
I'd like you to meet one of our all-star team members: Mark Legaspi. Mark is one of the hardest working and committed people we have ever met. We catch him working on his days off all the time and know that his hard work ethic comes from his passion to serve our clients with excellence. Mark is also good at just about everything! He helps out answering incoming client calls, helps our sales agents with their clients, and is one of our transaction coordinators.
Mark was born and raised in Cebu, Philippines. He is the eldest of 4 siblings, raised single-handedly by my mother. He worked in a call center (graveyard shift) and as a financial advisor to send himself and his siblings to college. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Management Accountancy and recently Juris Doctor. ⠀
Some fun facts about Mark are that he loves to read in his free time, soak in the sun on a beach, and play with his dogs: Patch, Lemon, Lolita, Ponki, & Savvy.
Say hello to our amazing team-member: Vanessa Tariman. Vanessa is a true jack of all trades. There is no task, big or small that she will not tackle. Her drive and passion for what she does is humbling and appreciated every day.
Vanessa was born and raised in the southern part of the Philippines, Davao City. She graduated with a bachelor of accounting degree but had only experience working as an accountant for less than two years. In 2013, she decided to shift her career and workplace from an office-based accountant to being a home-based general administrative virtual assistant for a US-based property management company. For the past seven years, Vanessa enjoyed working remotely and gained so much knowledge about U.S. real estate transactions.
Vanessa spends most of her weekends baking with her two kids, JV and Jana, and biking with her husband, Edgar. They also love to travel as a family exploring white sand beaches that are just a 30-minute drive from their place.
I'd like you to meet Lance Lucero, one of our amazing behind the scenes team members. If you call our main phone number, he is the guy who will take your call! He is the very first impression that our clients have with the Gluch Group and Lance handles this critical responsibility with excellence. Lance is amazingly responsive and always excited to help a new client figure out how our team can best help them. Lance is truly amazing at his job.⠀
Lance has an extensive background in customer service prior to joining the Gluch Group in 2017. He worked for multi-national big banks resolving customer's issues, concerns, and transactions. His knowledge and experience in Customer Engagement Strategies and Solution have been valuable making sure that our client gets the time and attention they need the moment they make the initial contact with our team.
Some fun facts about Lance: he lives in Palawan, Philippines which is a world-class beach destination, yet he does not know how to swim. If he is not playing video games with his son Dylan, he is enjoying the city's cuisine with his wife Elyn.
We are so proud to introduce you to a very important team member: Annjuli Agustin. Juli lives in the Philippines and has been a critical part of our team for four years now. We love working with Juli because she is always so positive and thoughtful to not only her clients but for the team. She works hard, is very trustworthy, and we can ALWAYS count on her to do what she says she will do. She is a great asset to the team.
A little more about Juli, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, starting her career as a collections agent for a Business Process Outsourcing Company. She loves spending time with her family, especially her husband Daryll and their 5 dogs.
I'm so glad you get to meet Juli today, we would not be the team we are or able to do the sales volume we can do with excellence while maintaining healthy "family-time" boundaries without her help! We are so excited to introduce you to another important member of our team: Shiva Garg. What we love about Shiva is his willingness to adapt. He has a "can-do" attitude that stops at nothing to adapt to new roles, find solutions, and learn/discover what is needed to help move our team forward. He wears multiple hats when it comes to filling what is needed on the team and does it with excitement and a positive attitude. He goes looking for problems and keeps his eyes open it identify them and provide remedies. Couldn't be more thankful to have a member like that on our team for the last four years.
A little more about Shiva: Born in Uttar Pradesh (India's biggest state), he moved to New Delhi (Capital) in 2007. He has a degree in Bachelor of Arts that he used in the finance industry and as a Quality Control analyst for Uber. He loves traveling, photography, listening to music, cooking (occasionally), watching Friends, & cartoon films Madagascar, Kung fu Panda, Despicable Me, The LOTR Trilogy, The Hobbit's Trilogy. He lives with Mom, Brother, Sister-in-law, and niece.
